Included in the Fannie/Freddie bill that the President signed last week are provisions specifically for the Reverse Mortgage program making the FHA reverse mortgage, called HECM, available for HOME PURCHASE transactions in addition to the traditional refinance use. This is big news for Senior Living Guide users. These provisions are expected to take affect Oct1-Jan1.
